Demolition Service Areas: Waikato, Auckland, Bay of Plenty & Coromandel

We are based at our own recycling facility in Frankton, Hamilton, and work out from there across four regions and 63-plus named towns and suburbs. Travel and cartage sit inside the fixed price, not on top of it. Use the map below to find your area, or just call and ask.

In short: anywhere roughly within 150 km of Hamilton is normal work for us, run by our own crews rather than subcontractors. If your town is not on the map, it is almost certainly still covered, ask.

Waikato

Our yard and recycling facility are in Frankton, Hamilton, so the Waikato is the region we work every week. Most of it is inside an hour of the gate, which is why Waikato jobs get the shortest lead times and the lowest cartage: demolition waste goes straight back to our own facility rather than to a third-party transfer station.

Auckland

Auckland work runs on the same crews and the same machines, mobilised from Hamilton. In practice that suits jobs done in one continuous run rather than a few hours a day across a fortnight, and it means one Auckland Council consent conversation instead of a chain of subcontractors. Franklin — Pukekohe, Waiuku, Bombay, Tuakau — is closer to our yard than it is to most Auckland-based operators.

Bay of Plenty

The Bay of Plenty runs from Katikati through Tauranga and Te Puke to Whakatāne, plus Rotorua inland. Coastal Bay of Plenty jobs bring their own wrinkles — tighter subdivision sites, plenty of pre-2000 fibre-cement cladding, and salt-affected steel — so asbestos surveying and licensed removal usually belong in the same quote rather than with a separate contractor.

Coromandel & Hauraki

Thames, the Hauraki Plains and the Coromandel Peninsula. Peninsula jobs are mostly baches, sleepouts and older holiday homes on steep or narrow-access sections, where getting the machine in and the waste out is half the job — so access gets priced in the quote rather than discovered on day one. Farm-building demolition across the Hauraki Plains, out of Paeroa and Waihi, is regular work for us.

Distance & Cost

What changes when your job is further from Hamilton

Four things people ask before they tell us the address. Short answer: less than you would expect.

Travel is in the quote, not on top of it
The fixed price you get already includes getting the machines to your site and the waste away from it. There is no separate travel line item added later, and no per-kilometre surprise on the invoice.
Consent is your district, not ours
Demolition consent is granted by the council your property sits in, not the one we are based in. We deal with all four regions’ authorities regularly and prepare the same documentation set wherever the job is.
Distance moves lead time, not price per day
Further-out jobs are usually scheduled as one continuous run rather than split across a fortnight, which is why a Coromandel or Whakatāne booking may sit a little further out in the calendar than a Hamilton one.
Waste comes back to our own facility
Concrete, timber, steel and general demolition waste is processed at our Frankton facility rather than tipped at whichever transfer station is nearest. That is what keeps disposal costs stable across all four regions.
Common Questions

Service Area FAQs

No. Travel and cartage are built into the fixed price we quote, so the number you are given after the site assessment is the number you pay. A Tauranga or Thames job costs more than an identical Hamilton job only where the extra cartage genuinely costs us more, and that difference is already in the quote before you accept it.
Usually yes. The list on this page is the towns we work often enough to name; it is not a boundary. Anything roughly within 150 km of Hamilton is normal work for us, and we will tell you straight away on the phone if a job is genuinely too far to price competitively rather than quoting it and then declining.
The council your property sits in. In our service area that is Hamilton City Council, Waipā, Waikato, Matamata-Piako, South Waikato, Ōtorohanga or Waitomo District Councils in the Waikato; Auckland Council; Tauranga City, Western Bay of Plenty, Rotorua Lakes, Whakatāne or Kawerau in the Bay of Plenty; and Thames-Coromandel or Hauraki on the peninsula and plains. We prepare the documentation and can talk you through what your specific council asks for.
No. Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Coromandel jobs run on our own crews, our own machines and our own trucks out of Frankton, Hamilton. Asbestos removal is done by our own licensed team rather than handed to a third party, which is the main reason we can hold a fixed price on a job two hours from the yard.
Because those five are where we have enough completed work, local consent experience and customer feedback to write something specific and true. A page per town would mostly be the same paragraph with the place name swapped, which helps nobody and is exactly what search engines discount. Every other town we cover is named on this page and quoted on the same terms.
For a free site assessment, usually within a few working days anywhere in the four regions. For the demolition itself, Waikato work typically starts soonest because the yard is inside an hour of most of it; Auckland, Bay of Plenty and Coromandel bookings are scheduled as continuous runs and so may sit slightly further out. We give you a real date before you commit, not a range.
